About 40 percent of the EU's territory is used for agriculture. Agriculture depends on the sustainable use of natural resources. At the same time, it is the cause of environmental and climate pollution. The European Court of Auditors has examined organic farming in the EU - and concludes that policymakers have not created the right framework conditions.
